20世纪90年代起,从西方医学地理学中发展出一门新的分支学科——健康地理学。在这一新学科框架下,地理学研究的重心逐步从关注疾病与诊疗服务向关注广泛意义上的健康与福祉拓展,一大批关于地方与疗愈过程的研究在过去的30年间迅速兴起并在地理学与社会科学领域产生了显著的影响力。而这些关于疗愈的研究拥有一个共同的理论基点,即W. M. Gesler在1992年提出的“疗愈景观”这一概念,并在随后的发展中逐步发展出一套具有影响力的理论框架,成为当之无愧的健康地理学的重要理论贡献。疗愈景观相关研究在中国的地理学研究中鲜少提及。论文从本体论(即疗愈景观中的景观指什么)与认识论(即如何理解景观的疗愈性)两个方面对1990年代以来疗愈景观的理论发展过程和研究现状进行了回顾。疗愈景观概念借鉴了新文化地理学的结构主义和人本主义理论。后期受到地理学关系转向的影响,逐步发展成为健康地理学最具影响力的理论框架。关系视角下的疗愈景观研究受到非表征理论、行动者网络理论、移动转向等理论的深刻影响,逐步发展出了疗愈组合、赋能场所、疗愈移动、疗愈任务景观等分支理论。最后,文章总结了当前疗愈景观研究存在的一些问题,并对新时期疗愈景观框架下的中国健康地理学的发展提出了建议。
