摘要： 本文在分析地图数据特征的基础上,针对如何提高地图空间查询效率这一难题,从多种地图索引方法中选择了Ｒ＋＿树索引方法,实现了Ｒ＋＿树索引的算法,最后给出了一个包括地图数据存储和索引、查询功能的地图数据库实例。

Abstract: In this article, properties of geographic spatial database are analyzed. Then an algorithm of R+_tree spatial index is implemented for spatial index, to improve the spatial search efficiency. At last, an example of spatial database is given.
